49ers Sign Safety Davis to One-Year Deal

The San Francisco 49ers have signed safety Ashtyn Davis to a one-year deal, with the team announcing the move on Tuesday.

The 49ers made the announcement Tuesday, waiving running back Jermar Jefferson in a corresponding move. Davis spent last season with the Dolphins, appearing in 15 games with 12 starts where he recorded 63 tackles, four passes defensed, one interception, and one forced fumble.

A third-round pick of the Jets in 2020, Davis has appeared in 84 career games with 34 starts, totaling 217 tackles, nine interceptions, and five forced fumbles. beltedkingfisher.blog
