Steelers Extend TE Washington to 4-Year Deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with tight end Darnell Washington on a four-year extension worth $42 million with $21 million guaranteed.

The Steelers drafted Washington in the third round in 2023, and he has improved each season. As a rookie, he had seven catches for 61 yards, followed by 19 receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown in 2024, then 31 catches for 364 yards and another touchdown in 2025.

Washington has played over 500 offensive snaps in each of his first three seasons despite the Steelers having Pat Freiermuth at the tight end position. piekny-pies.pl
